Ódalavie

Ôdalavie is a contemporary dance duo that is a veritable hymn to existence. More than a performance, it's a sensitive, intimate experience, a celebration of love, birth and resilience in the face of hardship.

Through their poetic, organic movements, Camille Lacroix-Rouit and Victor Balatier create bodies in dialogue, breaths that meet, impulses that break and then rise again. Their dance is a living language, a writing in motion where each gesture bears witness to the fragility and strength of human bonds.

Backed by original music (Philippe Balatier's “No Jazz”), the piece creates a space where the spectator is invited to feel, to remember, to recognize in himself what unites people.

The duo's metamorphoses reflect the many faces of relationships: the wonder of an encounter, the tenderness of support, the power of reconstruction.
